Inserts of ME!!! (Aren't you excited?)

Guess What????? This is the page where I insert things I've heard (on my infinate stream of knowlege hahaha), seen or written. Plus my snappy little comments Mwahahaa.

This is a section from the book I'm writing. Cool, huh? The background to this is a girl who's been captured from her friends by a goverment agency, watched their parents be murdered, and has just escaped. Seem normal? Not only that but she has an ability, telekinesis... Her friends have some too. Enjoy!

I stood quietly there for a second, shocked. All this planning of escape for months and it had been so easy. Too easy.

Pushing the thought aside, I let my trained senses take over. They had pushed me, tortured me, and destroyed my soul too many times over. A mistake.

I killed a man. But I was free.

I finally opened my eyes to see a vast wilderness. Pine trees. They were my favorite. Were, because according to my captors, I was nothing. Therefore, I cared for nothing. But I remembered them. My friends. Even making me forget could never truly erase them from my mind. They had kept me sane, and alive. To me, they were the only ones who didn’t see me as a lab rat.

I had control. Over the long years it took for me to even harness my powers, it took only months to almost fully control them. The only good thing about the company now was that they taught me to endure, no matter how many times the world tries to kill you. Hey, I survived.

I breathed in the fresh air like it was the most tantalizing smell in the world. It seemed that way after spending half a year sucking filtered air. I let my ability fully lift me off the ground, and felt very weak despite my health when I was first captured. But because invisible hands are moving you and everything around you all the time, you learn to not to use your real muscles.

Hovering there in midair, I realized the alarms must’ve been tripped when I’d opened the door. Stupid. Then, for the first time in weeks, I took an actual step. The grass tickled my feet and before I knew it I was taking quick, clumsy leaps through the dense forest like a newborn foal. I was free.
