I've been thinking about attitude lately.

My sister and her awful boyfriend (really, he's not THAT awful...except he's a jerk and he ate all my mashed potatoes. Which really shouldn't be a big deal, but they were my favorite and he's a pig...I shall call him Oinkers), Oinkers, were making fun of me because I was reading a book on the way to the lake. Kathy (sis) has never willingly picked up a book in her life, so she really doesn't understand the use of it. Besides, why would I attempt to have a conversation with THEM, instead of discovering how Max rescues Angel from the School in "Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment" (Which by the way is an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G book...I haven't read the others though... It's on my to-do list). She calls me a nerd and I kindly corrected her intelectual mistake.
THAT'S what I'm talking about. Don't get discouraged by people and their cruel little minds! You are a strong person, so show it! Here's some lines you can use...
1) Someone call you gay, "Actually people who acuse others of bisexuality are hiding their real feelings."
2) Someone calls you a geek or nerd, "Thank you. At least I'M going to college (you buttwipe!)." The last part is optional, either that or walk confidently away if possible.
3) Someone who calls you a naughty word for doing something smart (like studying), "I'm sorry, I think you lost your brain somewhere if that's the best insult you can come up with.
~Please do not resort to cussing or spreading rumors or flipping off someone while pantsing them, then running away screaming and taking pictures to put up on facebook (Although that would be really funny!). The best thing about being a geek is the grace and style on which your actions can be done. Other people aren't smart enough to come up with a witty response, so use yours to get them to respect your intelligence.
Be proud! Be strong! Be geek!
